About Me

I’m the kind of person that loves to keep busy doing many things and I love to reach for my definition of perfection in everything I take up. First and foremost I’m a vegan and I live my life doing my best to not hurt any animals and do my best to push society into doing the same. We humans do a tremendous disservice to animals in nearly every aspect of our lives and in turn we also hurt ourselves. This goes for the cruel practice of factory farming and the selfish fact that we feed 90% of our grain and water to livestock while people around the world starve and have no access to clean water. . |

Once you include the fact that those animals produce way more waste than humans produce its time to make a change. I want to make my mark and change that to the best of my ability. My artwork may not be related to veganism but I do my best to make sure that I work in a sustainable fashion that affects the environment as little as possible. There are many things being done now that I plan on doing in the future with my ceramics but the technology just isn’t green enough for my tastes but I think that change will come relatively soon. I also do my best to prove you can more than function on a vegan diet. As a vegan(since October 2001) I’ve succeeded as a 300+lb athlete benching 370lbs and squatting 600lbs to my new form…a 190lb cyclist that rides 350 miles a week and throws in the occasional 500mile week to mix things up. I’m also a national board member for OrganicAthlete where we promote the vegan lifestyle as not only a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle but also as a better means to succeed in sport. In the future I’d like to one day run a vegan art camp for kids around the country along with a vegan greyhound rescue.
